Supporting community fundraising

The Course:

This one day course is aimed at community development workers and others who support groups rather than at the groups themselves. It sets out to make the link between group development and fundraising. Often, groups feel intimidated and isolated when bidding for funding. This course will look at ways to support groups through this process whilst, at the same time, building capacity within the group. You will learn about the practical skills that a group will need in order to raise funds, and will go through the whole process from the preparation stage to hints and tips on making fundraising applications.
